Having started Life Into Words almost exactly a year ago, I decided it was time for a refresh. Veronika of By the Shore made it so easy to change it up! I definitely recommend her work. Hope you guys like it as much as I do!
Last weekend, my roommate Laura and I went to Dunkin Donuts. The lady accidentally added something extra to our bill and threw in two extra doughnuts for us to make up for it! Of course, I chose pumpkin and it was the best decision ever. Pumpkin doughnut + blueberry iced coffee = happy Sarah.
Sunday was a crazy busy day because I was helping to throw my honorary sister Jude's bridal shower! I have known her family for almost 10 years (!!) because I became good friends with her sister Cait back in college. It was a really random thing-- Cait came to visit a mutual friend; we literally hung out one day and have been best friends ever since. The shower was outside at their parent's house and so beautiful. Perfect autumn weather, lanterns in the trees, fresh flowers on the tables, the dreamy, folksy playlist I made humming in the background. It turned out really nice and Jude loved it. I can't wait to see her get married in October!
So, I was starving last night after work. I was having a debate with myself all the way home, thinking, "I should just cook something and save money, right? But do I even have anything to eat at home? Whatever, I should just make a sandwich. That would be the smart thing to do." Well... here's how that went:
And I have zero regrets. :) Leftovers for lunch today!
I'm looking forward to the weekend... I've been trying to put more emphasis on relaxing, but somehow life gets the best of me. I just can't say no to hanging out with good friends! It always results in exhaustion, but the best kind. I'll take it!
